Privacy policy
Draft. This page describes how the Clever test service works today. The final text will replace it before Clever launches.
Clever keeps as little about you as it can. Your chats and your browsing stay on your phone.
What stays on your phone
- Your chats with Clever and the steps of tasks Clever carried out. They are deleted after 30 days, or earlier in Settings › Privacy and data.
- Your tabs, browsing history, bookmarks and downloads.
- Your own API keys, if you add any. The app sends them to our server once per connection; the server holds them in memory only while you are connected, uses them only for your requests and never stores or logs them.
What our servers keep
- Your account: your email address and, if you set one, your name.
- Sign-in records: your sessions and the phones you signed in on (model, system version, app version).
- Your plan: purchases made in the App Store or Google Play, and how many credits you used this period.
- A notification token, if you allow notifications.
- An open task: while Clever works on a request, the server keeps the conversation and the page content of that task. It is deleted when the task ends, and an idle task ends after 24 hours.
When you ask or act
Your message and the page content you share go to Clever's servers and to the AI model that answers: today Qwen3.8 27B through OpenRouter, or the provider of your own API key when you choose one. Every page is checked for hidden instructions before the model reads it. Clever never types passwords, card numbers or verification codes: you enter those yourself.
Sign-in codes are sent from our mail account. We send no newsletters.
Logs
Server logs never contain codes, tokens, keys or page content. Log lines that contain your email address or account id are deleted within 30 days.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account in the app or on the web at any time: see Delete your account.
