Delete your account
You can delete your Clever account and its data in the app or here. It can’t be undone.
In the app
- Open Clever and sign in.
- Go to Settings › Account and plan.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete.
Deleting in the app also removes this account's chats, tasks and API keys from that phone.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name, and your Apple or Google sign-in link (Apple's sign-in token is revoked with Apple).
- Your sessions, the phones you signed in on, and notification tokens. Every phone is signed out at once.
- Your plan and usage records, and any open tasks.
What is kept
- Purchase records that the law requires us to keep for accounting, without your email address or any link to you.
- Server log lines with your email address or account id, until they are deleted within 30 days.
- Chats, tasks and keys on your phones: they never reach our servers. Delete them in Settings › Privacy and data, or uninstall the app.
A subscription in the App Store or Google Play is not cancelled by deleting your account: cancel it in the store so you aren't charged again. After deletion your email address is free: signing in with it again creates a new, empty account.
